Chez Meunier, an organic bakery in the 19eme has triumphed in the competition for the best croissant in Île-de-France. The challenging contest saw the 119 bakers' croissants go head to head and judged based on attributes such as shape, lamination, shine, flavor, and cooking techniques.

Located in the 19th district at 185 rue de Crimée, Chez Meunier is a bakery that prides itself in "providing high-quality organic breads, pioneering creations, and traditional craftsmanship, all while fusing creativity and high standards in daily operations," according to its website.
This accolade follows the previous selection of the best baguette in Île-de-France, and are by no means a small affair. In France, the croissant, like the baguette, holds an esteemed place, signifying the nation's culinary expertise. It also stands as the most frequently savored pastry throughout the country.
